MENTAL HEALTH IMPACTS
- Yes
- No
We asked survey participants about any mental health impacts resulting from exposure to sound in their neighborhood. Mental health impacts included nervousness, feelings of hopelessness, depression, loss of control, unproductiveness, moodiness, and despair. The majority of participants did not feel like neighborhood sound impacted their mental health. However, of those who felt as if neighborhood sound did impact their mental health, nervousness, moodiness, and a loss of control were the highest rated mental responses.
