Welcome to the Roslindale and West Roxbury report cards! These two neighborhoods are known for their “garden suburban” appeal due to the presence of wide tree lined streets, less dense residential and green spaces including the Arnold Arboretum, Millennium Park, and Brook Farm. Roslindale Village, hosts an active main street district, where residents (and outsiders) can enjoy a world-class and assorted range of restaurants, shops, and an incredible farmer’s market, which runs from early summer to early fall each year.
While most residents here tend to view their neighborhood as pretty quiet (well under the median sound perception level for Boston), many residents are grappling with aircraft noise.
